Panchayat 3 OTT Release and Rumor Clarification by Jitendra Kumar | “Panchayat 3” premiered on Prime Video on May 28, continuing the story of Abhishek Tripathi, portrayed by Jitendra Kumar, along with co-stars Neena Gupta and Faisal Malik. Following the success of the previous seasons, the third installment has been well-received by fans for its engaging storyline and strong performances.
Prior to the release, rumors suggested Jitendra Kumar might quit the show due to disagreements with the production house TVF. However, Jitendra addressed these speculations in an interview with India Today, dismissing them as false. He explained that misunderstandings and the cliffhanger ending of the previous season fueled the rumors. Despite the false news, Jitendra remained unaffected and reassured fans with the release of the first trailer for the new season.
“Panchayat,” directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, tells the story of an engineering graduate who becomes a panchayat secretary due to limited job opportunities. The series debuted in April 2020, with the second season following in 2022. It has received several accolades, including the Best Web Series (OTT) award at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
